Derrick Brooks to Windy City?

LB Derrick Brooks has already been contacted by the Bears, who lost Brian Urlacher for the season, according to ESPN.com. Brooks and Bears coach Lovie Smith were together in Tampa Bay, and Brooks would be able to pick up the scheme quickly.

The question is how Brooks' arrival would shake up the linebacking corps. Brooks isn't big enough to play in the middle, meaning Lance Briggs would likely take over for Urlacher with Brooks playing the weak side.
